Windows 7 RC in May and RTM in august

Initially their were reports that Windows 7 RC would be released in April but the Russian website wzor.net has posted that Microsoft has updated it’s schedule RC-Escrow build would be available in the last week of April and the full fledged RC build at the end of May.According to the site the latest build released was build 7061 and was compiled on 11th march 2009 and the build string is 7061.0.090311-1856.

The site further reports that pre RTM build would be compiled in the last week of July and probably would be available to the Technet and MSDN subscribers in August 2009.Officially the final version of Windows 7 would be presented at the IT forum in November this year.

So all the leaks stating to be build 7062 or 7065 are fake and don’t download them
