We know that Windows 7 beta Build 7022.0.x86fre.winmain.090115-1850 has been available on various torrents sites since couple of days.The changes and addition that we found in this build are-
- You would find Internet Explorer 8 RC1 in this build
- Their has been lots of changes to the sidebar.The colour has been changed and some minor tweaks too.
- An video and three music tracks has been added.
- Few minor changes has been done to the design of the Windows Media Player
- Control panel gets a new look (Category, large icons and small icons options has been added)
- Instant Search in the start menu
- General stability of the OS has been improved
Even more pointless features. The only thing there that’s remotely useful is the stability of the OS, and Vista has the instant search in the start menu already. Yawn.
Kenny grow up mate. Windows 7 is pretty much feature complete. It’s also already pretty awesome. You’re not going to see any new ‘wow’ features from here on in. If you find the behind the scenes bug fixes boring then don’t bother downloading any new builds until RTM. Simple.
