Many don’t know know what’s the difference between opening the elevated command prompt and the default command prompt.These images would make it clear

Notice that the elevated command prompt opens to D:\Windows\system32> while the default one opens to D:\Users\(user account name)>
To open the elevated command prompt here are the steps-
- Open start menu
- Navigate to accessories,then right click on command prompt and then click on Run as Administrator
