We have earlier posted that general availability of Windows 7 beta is going to be end today i.e. 10th Feb.So we would like to remind if you haven’t started downloading then do start it as soon as possible,though you would be able to download it till 12th Feb:

We know that Windows 7 beta Build 7022.0.x86fre.winmain.090115-1850 has been available on various torrents sites since couple of days.The changes and addition that we found in this build are-

Their has been lots of changes to the sidebar.The colour has been changed and some minor tweaks too.

We know that Microsoft is currently going ahead with internal beta releases of Windows 7 and is preparing for the Windows 7 RC release,which is scheduled in April 2009.
The build 7022 is now available on various torrents site and on rapidshare too and is confirmed to be real.The Build is Build 7022.winmain.090115-1850 which clearly states that the build was created on 15th of January about 7 days after the release of the first public beta build 7000.According to the sources, build 7034 has also been released to the Microsoft employees. …

The Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit team blog has posted that the new version of MAP toolkit is compatible with Windows 7.
Here is what the blogpost reads
Due to popular demand of the Windows 7 Beta Program, our team has just released a new version of the Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Toolkit 3.2 (Build 2315) that now gives you the newly-added capability of running this MAP Toolkit on Windows 7 Beta machines.

After the official announcement about the various editions of Windows 7 by Microsoft two days back,their has been news about the pricing of the different versions of Windows 7. According to the German Website Windows Secrets the different versions of Windows 7 would cost between  $199.95 and $ 319.95,though Microsoft has not published any news about the same. 
The Starter Edition of Windows 7 is valued at $199,95 which would be available worldwide. The Starter Edition of Windows 7 wouldn’t be available in stores, but exclusively through OEM partners. …

Tip 4: Shake Windows of Your Desktop

Microsoft has confirmed to computer world that an upgrade option would be provided to the Windows XP users,so it means not only the Windows Vista users but the Windows XP users would be also given an opportunity to upgrade to Windows 7 at cheaper prices.
Here is what the computer world reads-
"Regarding XP, customers can purchase upgrade media and an upgrade license to move from Windows XP to Windows 7," a company spokeswoman said in an e-mail this morning. "However, they will need to do a clean installation of Windows 7."

Tip 3: Pin Files, Folders, and Favourites to the Taskbar in Windows 7 beta 1
If you often open particular files, Web pages, or folder locations, you can give yourself easier access to these commonly used resources by “pinning” them to the Taskbar. Applications can be pinned to the Taskbar, similar to how you could place your favourite applications on the Quick Launch toolbar.
