One of the main organizers of this years Hack in the Box conference which will take place in July 2010, Dhillon Andrew Kannabhiran, claims in an interview on WebWereld (webwereld.nl) that Windows 7 contains severe flaws which compromise the overall security of the system. In a post on Microsoft’s blog mactopia it is announced that they are moving the user interface of Office for Mac 2011 from Carbon over to Cocoa for a better performance. The main problem have been the lack of compatibility between the Windows and the Mac version of Office. The problem was already being discussed when Office for Mac 2011 was introduced (Feb. 11, 2010), and Microsoft stated that:
